Accessibility
Runrail should be usable without a mouse or a perfect screen.
Veyact is improving the public website, checkout handoff, consumer-rights functions, documentation, and local product interfaces against practical keyboard, screen-reader, contrast, zoom, and error-recovery needs.
Service and workflow
Runrail is a local-first software-review product. A customer installs the desktop or command-line package, opens a reviewed local repository, inspects a bounded candidate change, runs allowlisted checks, and exports evidence for a human decision. The website explains the product and links to Stripe-hosted checkout and billing. Repository content is not uploaded through this website.
Consumer withdrawal and cancellation functions use a short form, a review step, an unambiguous final confirmation, and an immediate downloadable receipt. They do not require access to the subscriber console.
Implemented controls
- semantic headings, landmarks, labels, link text, and visible keyboard focus
- keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs, tabs, checkout links, and consumer-rights forms
- responsive reflow and zoom support without requiring horizontal page scrolling at supported widths
- text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative-image suppression for assistive technology
- status, validation, and error messages that do not rely on color alone
- plain-language summaries alongside technical evidence and downloadable JSON artifacts
- no time-limited product decision and no audio-only or gesture-only purchase step
Known limitations
The local desktop application and generated technical evidence contain dense code-oriented views. Some third-party surfaces, including Stripe-hosted checkout and the customer's operating-system installer prompts, are controlled by those providers. Veyact reviews the handoff but cannot change those interfaces directly.
Automated checks do not prove that every assistive-technology combination works. Current release review includes keyboard navigation, zoom/reflow, contrast, form labelling, focus visibility, and desktop/mobile layout checks. A documented issue is treated as a product defect and prioritized by impact.
Report a barrier
Email hello@veyact.com with the page or product screen, operating system, assistive technology if relevant, and the action you were trying to complete. Do not send source code, repository archives, credentials, recovery codes, card details, or API keys.
Veyact aims to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day during the Paid Alpha. Consumers may also use the public withdrawal and cancellation functions without contacting support.
German accessibility requirements for consumer e-commerce services are described in the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz and the BFSG regulation. This statement reports the current product boundary; it is not a legal-compliance certificate.
